Katrina

I am just overwhelmed by this. There have been so many tragedies since 9/11, the world feels like it's turned on it's head. The continuing Horror Of Iraq, the Bali Bombings, The London Bombings, the Tsunami, etc. and now this. All I can say is God And Goddess Bless and HELP ALL of the PEOPLE affected by this. With tears in my eyes,

Make That 12 Principles Of The Earth Party Manifesto

11)End all "Blue" Laws, legalize pornography, sex toys, etc. in ALL States and make all consensual sexual acts between people of consenting age(Around 16 to 18, this is debatable) legal.

12)Legalize Gay Marriage.

There, now this, is the completion of The Earth Party Manifesto. ;)

The Birth Of My New Political Party And Its Manifesto

Being a leftist progressive, I have become so sick of most of the cowering Democrats, whose timidity in even challenging Bush on the Iraq War and other issues when even Republicans now are, is gutless and disgusting. And because of that I am starting to separate myself from the party I have been a member of since I began to vote. Then why, you might say, don't you become a Green Party member? Assuming they are more progressive. And they are, but still not as progressive as I am, especially on the more Libertarian aspects of my political beliefs. So I have decided to form my own Political Party, The Earth Party(Apologies if this is already taken). Here is The Earth Party Manifesto, the Ten major principles upon which it is founded:

1) Legalize ALL drugs for people 18 and over. Tax them heavily and use the tax proceeds to help with drug treatment programs. Stiffen penalties for drug related crimes, but make sure the punishment is met with compassion and treatment options if that is appropriate.

2)Free Health care including Dental and Psychotherapy for ALL. As well as Free Drugs for those who need them.

3)A Fair Tax System where the Wealthy pay their Fair Share. No more tax Shelters for the Wealthy.

4)The End of Eminent Domain. No One can take your property for any Commercial Purpose at all, and the Government can only take it for an Emergency and must pay above market value.

5)Cut The Pentagon Budget by 1/3 and give those funds to the Department Of Energy to fund scientific research into renewable energy sources and alternative transportation options such as rail.

6)Increase Funding for the Arts, provided that those who benefit give back some of their time helping the NEA.

7)Increase Price Controls on all Merchandise.

8)Provide a Dole for those who do not wish to participate in capitalism in this country.

9)Increase EPA funding and stiffen fines heavily for businesses who pollute.

10)Legalize gambling, prostitution and assisted suicide. In The Earth party your life is your own.

There it is, The Earth Party Manifesto, now I finally have a party that represents me completely. ;)

Rock And Roll Is Rock And Roll

This post is a bit similar to the Freak one, but I think it needs to be said somewhere in space, time and infinity. I am so tired of the nauseating categories people label Rock Music these day, you have Emo, Metal, Death Metal, HardCore, Black Metal, Punk, Pop Punk, Classic Rock, Alternative, Soft Rock, New Age, Neo-New Age, Goth, Folk Rock, etc. I have even seen people argue about which form of Metal or Rock is better, THIS IS INSANE. As Brian Johnson of AC/DC said, "Rock And Roll Is Just Rock And Roll". IT IS ALL JUST ROCK AND ROLL. There really is no difference between The Moody Blues and Sepultura. Think about it.

My Karma

You Have Good Karma

In general, you like to do the right thing when it comes to others.
Your caring personality really shines through.
Sure, you have your moments of weakness - and occasionally act out.
But, all in all, you're karma is good... even with those few dark spots.

I hope this is right ; D.

FREAKS UNITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so sick of members of the counterculture(those whose lives differ from the "mainstream"). You have Goths, Emo Core People, Freaks, Gay Lesbian Bi, MetalHeads, New Agers, Pagans, Satanists, Punks, Hippies, etc. We on the opposite side of so called normal culture need to unite and just consider ourselves THE COUNTERCULTURE. All of these Tribal Divisions just cause friction and animosity between them, I know we all have different lives and opinions just as the so called "mainstream" does but I believe we share one common belief and that is, WE ARE NOT LIKE THEM. As John Lennon said, "Come Together, Right Now, Over Me".

My Life Path Number

Your Life Path Number Is 11
11

Your life path is greatly associated with spiritual awareness.
As one of the two master numbers, the 11 yields understanding and knowledge beyond the grasp of others.
The attitude toward life of those possessing this Life Path is somewhat extreme; extremely intuitive, avant-garde, idealistic, visionary, and cultured.
These extremes make you an interesting, if unusual person, with much to offer society.

The Life Path 11 person is deep-thinking, and you are no doubt interested in understanding many of life's mysteries and more intriguing facets.
Your inventive mind and broad-minded views will permit you to succeed in life in any number of ventures.
You can best serve society, however, in those endeavors utilizing your skills of counseling and guidance.
Much of your idealism is people oriented and quite humanitarian in nature.
You expect a great deal of yourself and of those to whom you are close.

On the negative side, there is a lot of nervous tension associated with the 11 life path, and you can be a difficult person to deal with because of this.
For this reason, relationships, at times, can be difficult.
This is a Life Path that seems to feature broad mood swings between the elation and depression.
You are likely to have trouble making decisions and getting your life in gear, so to speak.
There is a tendency for the 11 to harbor feelings of uneasiness, and dissatisfaction with accomplishments and personal progress in life.

Your grandiose schemes usually make sense, but you can get off the track and they can be very impractical.
You have a very distinct side that lacks common sense, and you are quite often unable to distinguish between fantasy and reality.
In this regard, you are perhaps more of a dreamer than a doer.
When you do get on target, your ideas seem to have been inspired on high.
Perhaps you are not a leader, but you are a visionary and a very talented idea person.

What Is Your Life Path Number?

Buddy this nails me in a lot of areas.

Good Morning

As I've mentioned before, I'm a guitarist and composer and I've been sort of creatively stagnant for a while. My CHI energy has been blocked. ; ) So I played this morning and had a good session, my CHI energy is flowing again!!!!!!!!!!!! None of my friends are up to relate this to, so I'll just relate it to the rest of the world via internet. : ) I pray this burst of creative energy lasts. And hopefully, you'll be hearing my music everywhere soon. ; )

God and Goddess Bless Cindy Sheehan

As most of the Democrats in Washington cower or act like lapdogs to our Commander In Cheat, the courage of one woman who lost her son shames them all. She has, almost singlehandedly, formed a movement that is spreading across The Nation to hold Bush accountable for his War In Iraq. I just wrote this to voice here to the world my unwavering support for her and to give her my love and offer my prayers for her and everyone supporting her. God And Goddess Bless Cindy Sheehan.

Americans Are Mostly Selfish Children

I was watching a report on the news about flight delays at Hartsfield-Jackson airport, near where I live, grown people were whining about having to wait a few extra hours for their flight or even a couple of days. I was thinking the whole time, most of the people they interviewed were healthy and well off enough to fly and they were whining about this, when there are other people in this world that are lucky to get one meal a day, that have to deal with disabilities, that are, um, IN A WAR as we speak, and here these bitches (men and women) were complaining about a little lost time. It made me unusually angry and I screamed at the TV, trying to get my voice to pass through some psychic veil so they might have heard it. Some people are just so ungrateful just to be alive.

Just A Thought

Every now and then, in the Spirit of Jack Handy, I will relate these little "brain droppings" as George Carlin calls them. They will be more serious in nature and actual ruminations unlike Jack's joke thoughts. This is the first of many. Just a thought, pick up an object around you, any small or medium object, anything, and see where it is made. Where was it made? China? Taiwan? That's one American job gone. Think of this any time you see a foreign country listed as the country of manufacture. Then understand why people like me oppose Cafta, Nafta, and the WTO.

Bush Is A Despot, Then You Know That If You Have Nuerons That Work

Our Commander In Grief took it upon himself to appoint John Bolton as a recess appointment as U.N Ambassador with no comment or vote from Congress. Appointing a man to represent us, all Americans, my conservative enemies, who doesn't believe the U.N. should exist and has a history of combativeness, abusiveness and lying. What's that say to the rest of the world? Oh sorry, we've been saying that since the Iraq Invasion, nevermind. Somebody in politics has got to have the balls to stand up to King George, before that isn't a joke anymore. And the Democrats still cower, pathetic. That party needs to get a pair.

ReBirth

Well, this is my first post, so I'll keep it brief. I'm going to be talking about my ideas about everything from politics to music to the occult here, and sometimes just vent about society. That' s pretty much it, my name is Mark, and so it begins.
